Armillary chandelier

I'm looking for something distinctive without being too off the wall. This is Eric Cohler for Visual Comfort. It says the finish is polished nickel, although looking at the picture I'd have to verify that. I think it needs black shades. 25" high, 35" in diameter. What do you think?

Cool, where are you planning to hang it? I like black shades as well on it.

Fantastic!

And I love the word "armillary."

Love this but you're right, it needs black shades. Hopefully with a metallic lining?

Well, I am always saving my pennies for something. It is usually for more Art supplies however I found some of the most wonderful garden stools at Ranchmart Hardware!

ok truly not trying to be sourpuss sally here: i'm kind of distracted by the... um... phallicness of it all. arrow, ball formations under the drip pans, bondage-ish. is it late at night and i'm just tired?

Yeah, shades would help.

Well that explains why I'm drawn to it! hahaha

I'm with Soodie on this one. Always love metallic shades on chandeliers in dining rooms. I'd wait on the accessories until the room comes into focus. It's easy to get lost in the trees when the forest is screaming for money. Know this from very sad experience! I'm sure the schnauzers are gonna love this home.

Well, yes it is very masculine and I could see how you were drawn to it. I still think it is very interesting.
