Are you watching?

Not only are we now obsessed with visiting Vancouver, and probably Whistler, but Brett and I are also obsessed with curling. We've watched hours of it, marveling at the skill and finesse required. Ok, and also a fair number of cute guys. Look up hot Canadian curler John Morris. If that doesn't make you say Oh Canada! nothing will.

My friend Jim was going to watch the Kansas City Curling Club today. Brett has researched and they have clinics where you can learn, we're totally thinking we need to give it a try.

Vancouver is an amazing city! I loved my visit 2 years ago! I think you'd be good at curling!

That's hilarious! I didn't notice the cute guys but I noticed the finesse, etc. John and I were watching at lunch yesterday and I don't think I'd ever seen curling before. Very curious, interesting. Like intense shuffleboard.

We're going sometime Lisa, we've already decided. Look how big Hos is in that picture, he's nearly Ellie-sized!

HG, we still don't know whats going on half the time, but watching them say where they're going to put the stone, then put the stone right there, has been very interesting.

We are all talking about how much we would love to go to Vancouver. I've always loved the idea of curling. So civilized.

I am glad civilization is taking place to the east of me. My husband and I have talked about how we totally don't get this sport. It rather reminds me of a pancake relay on ice. Oh, well. Tonight not so good at my place. The KU-OU game (we had prenup: OU football; KU, basketball). Still reeling from 1988...and this hideous OU season. Now, I get that sport!

Sounds suspiciously to me like you're trying to get an extra wearing of your bowling shoes.

A few hours a week, in an icy building sounds heavenly, eh?
