Bathroom in a box

What better way to celebrate a distinctly American holiday than with some good old American consumerism! After exhaustive research and price comparisons, we ordered most everything we'll need for the bathroom this morning. HomeClick.com was the winner with an average of 37% off manufacturer's list and free shipping on most items. We compared with Lowe's and HomeClick was lower, plus theres no tax for the online purchase. Then on top of that, they were taking another 8% off for the holiday.

Barclay Constitution pedistal sink
Kohler Persuade dual flush toilet

Kohler Purist widespread faucet in polished chrome

Matching Purist shower mixer and head

Tissue holder, towel ring and a pair of bars (below)

We've found an oversized Carrera subway tile for the walls, floor to ceiling, and a black 12x12 marble for the floor, and will be measuring and figuring out how much we need today. We also need to order the Schluter shower underlayment system this week.

The electrician's bid is in, now we just need to find a plumber. And hope that there's nothing horrible awaiting us when we start demolition. I can't wait to call for a dumpster!

If you think about it, do let me know where you found your tile. That is quite a bathroom in a box - can't wait to see it.

We found it at The Tile Shop. It's their Hampton Carrera, in a 20X50 centimeter size. They've got a number of white marbles, the veining in the Hampton leans to gray, their others tend toward the tans.

The store at 119th and Metcalf seems to have a better selection than the one on Shawnee Mission Parkway.

Thanks for that source tip, David!

We're gearing up to remodel our master bath and I'm at the pricing stage. The Purist collection is at the top of my list.

I hope HomeClick.com's customer service and delivery is top notch for you (and for me).

Fingers crossed Raina! You should probably compare against any local discounters you might have, but I couldn't find anyone here with prices as good. The shipping part was great, some was free, and the charge for what wasn't was all of 19 bucks. Then no sales tax.

I'll update as things arrive. The checkout list said that everything was in-stock.

Fingers crossed Raina! You'll likely compare against any local discounters you've got there, but definitely take a look at the website. No tax, free shipping on a number of items, and minimal shipping on the rest (19 bucks) seemed like a good deal.

My checkout list said everything was in stock except for maybe the sink. I'll update you as things arrive.
