Colored Ceilings

We're going with a very pale grey for our ceilings throughout the house, but in the entry and dining rooms we have some very cool old backlit coved ceilings. I gave this pale turquoise a shot and we really like it. (pardon my tape there) I can't wait to do the dining room now.

Thank you Raina =) Here's the funny part, it's a Ben Moore mistint. I picked it up at Westlake for 5 bucks probably 2 years ago when I was painting furniture.

I'm going to get a gallon matched so I have enough for 2 coats in the dining room.

I love the idea of the grey ceilings. I tried to push the concept of gray blue in my reno but BF talked me down...too bad.

Can you post more photos? would love to see how they turned out.

AJ, it'll be a bit before Bill is back to install the crown, but once he does I'll be sure to put up some pics. The gray we're using (Sherwin Williams' Fleur du Sel) is really pale so until you get some white moulding up its difficult to see.

Also AJ, a poorly-lit photo of one of our bedrooms with the same ceiling color can be found here
