The move is over...and now the real work begins. Here I am last night ready to head out to the halloween party. Alex wanted to be in the picture too.
And here is the funny thing from moving day, the note we saw stuck to the movers' clipboard:
While it took the entire day, everything they touched was wrapped securely in moving blankets and babied all the way to the new house.

Well at least they took extra special care! Great costume David!
Uniform looks totally cool, woof. Love the boots. All you need are some mirrored shades to complete the look....
Yowza Officer Cutie Pie!
Ok, I am LMAO at that note.
The note we had was from the office manager (in NZ). It said "Repeat customers - please send our best team!" Two of the three packers who showed up had been on the job less than a week.
Love the costume!!!
Oh that note is hilarious!
David, you made me laugh out loud twice with a post that's not 100 words long . . . Very well done!
My husband's a lawyer, too. Often known as "deal breakers," I glad this wasn't the deal here. Happy new home.
That post-it is great! Moving companies are notorious for jacking the estimate up 2-3x. I've been a horrible victim several times AND with furniture items arriving smashed or damaged. Irony that I help people recover $ for a living, yet I can't even protect myself.
PS The outfit is excellent. I love how Alex insists on being part of your bad-ass picture.
So, are you the good cop or the bad cop? ;-)
