All good things to do at a great round dining table, like this one from dosgallos.com. (Yes, I'm still obsessed with round dining tables) This is the 60", shown in a medium mahogany, lightly distressed finish. It comes in a number of other finishes, including a black which I really like, and a 72" size that would be perfect in my dining room. Does anyone know anything about Dos Gallos?

I don't know a thing but I do like round tables (although the only ones at Linderhof are outside!) -- for you can always squeeze "just one more" around them and everyone can see everyone to talk to at dinner parties! If you have 8 or more with a rectangular table you really have two dinner parties! And yes, the 72" would be better -- the bigger the better with a round table.
I do like the style although I personally would favor the wood over black -- but perhaps in your house, the black would fit in as well or better than the mahogany.
If you like it, I say "go for it"!!!
i love the table! i like the darker wood, but i guess it all depends on the rest of the colors you are going with in the space.
I know nothing about them other than they seem to have been around forever and like to feature roosters in their advertising.
LOVE the table!
David love the round table and I think black would be gorgeous and perfect for your space....
Agree with everyone else, LOVE the table. I've always preferred round but 72"? Holy shit, David, that's a helluva table. Chairs will be a wonderful challenge; how about these? http://www.1stdibs.com/furniture_item_detail.php?id=451980
Those are great Chris, I don't think Dunbar made anything I don't like. I think they'd be even hotter taller, as counter or bar stools.
Tell me if you think this is crazy for around this (or a similar) table. 4 upholstered wing chairs. A simplified more modern wing, but that idea. And then 4 wood side chairs to fill in for larger gatherings. For some reason I'm kind of fixated on two different chairs.
David, a great idea to mix it up. A table that large would swallow four regular chairs but wingbacks could hold their own. West Elm was doing a terrific modern wingback (http://tinyurl.com/27vdjo5) but I see it's been discontinued; maybe call around and see if you can pick up some floor models.
Rattan chairs from pottery barn would be great too.
